Robert R. Fitzjarrald, CPA Shareholder
Bob joined the firm in 1984 after graduating from Western Illinois University and subsequently became a shareholder in the firm. Bob's specializes in helping small to medium sized businesses and individuals with taxation and accounting. In addition, Bob has considerable accounting and auditing experience serving small and medium private companies, governmental and not-for-profit entities and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society and the Tax Division of the AICPA.
Joshua S. Richardson, CPA Shareholder
Josh merged his CPA practice with Hocker & Fitzjarrald, PC on October 1, 2014 to form Hocker, Fitzjarrald & Richardson, PC upon the retirement of Jim Hocker. Josh is a CPA and a 1999 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University. Josh's 20 years of public accounting experience in business and individual taxation, accounting, software systems and audits are a welcome addition to the firm.
Peggy A. Roberts, CPA
Peggy joined the firm in 2010 and brings extensive tax, accounting and audit experience to Hocker, Fitzjarrald & Richardson, PC. Peggy has a very impressive resume that includes 15 years with a Peoria CPA firm rising to the position of shareholder, and then to managing shareholder of that firm. She is a graduate of Illinois State University and a Fulton County native. Peggy's expertise in corporate taxation, construction companies, employee benefit plans, not-for-profit entities, auditing and accounting are valuable resources for our firm and for our clients.
Paula L. Arrenholz, Accountant
Paula became a member of the Hocker, Fitzjarrald & Richardson, PC family in 1999 bringing 20+ years of accounting, marketing, human resource and management experience to the firm. She has a diploma from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale after the completion of the two year school for banking through the Illinois Bankers Association. Also, Paula has a diploma from the Human Resources School of the Illinois Bankers Association. In addition, Paula has also received the following certificates from the American Institute of Banking: General Banking diploma and Bank Operations diploma. Paula has 50+ hours of college credit in general business, accounting, and banking coursework. Paula has a unique, yet professional working relationship with many of our clients and she is a Canton native.
Carla J. Spotser, Accountant
Carla joined Hocker, Fitzjarrald & Richardson, PC in 2015 with twenty-five years of bookkeeping and small business management experience. Her experience includes serving as Regional Bookkeeper and Auditor for American Publishing for 5 years and lastly managing a group of newspapers for Gatehouse Media, Inc. Carla is a Canton native.

James D. Hocker, CPA Retired 09/30/14
Jim graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri in 1967 with B.S. degree in Business Administration and a major in accounting. He joined Price Waterhouse & Co. (St. Louis) in 1967 and worked on the audit and tax staffs before leaving in 1971 to join our firm. Jim has extensive experience in governmental and not-for-profit accounting and auditing, business accounting, and income tax preparation and planning for individuals, corporations, partnerships and fiduciaries. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society and the Tax Division of the AICPA.
